This policy explains how billing, cancellation, and refunds work for paid GooseMind LLC subscriptions, including OpenGoose. OpenGoose is software delivered electronically, so there is no physical shipping or return. All amounts are in U.S. dollars (USD).
1. Billing
- Paid plans are subscriptions billed in advance in U.S. dollars.
- Monthly subscriptions renew automatically each month on the date you first subscribed, until you cancel.
- Your payment method is charged at the start of each billing period at the then-current price, plus any applicable taxes.
- Payments are securely processed by Stripe.
2. Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings, or by emailing support@goosemind.ai. When you cancel:
- Your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period.
- You will not be charged again after the current period ends.
- You keep access to paid features until the period ends, after which your account reverts to the Free plan.
3. Refunds
- 14-day satisfaction guarantee. If you are not satisfied with your first paid subscription, contact us within 14 days of your initial charge and we will refund that payment in full.
- Renewals. Charges for renewal periods are generally non-refundable once the new period has begun, because you retain access for that period. If you forgot to cancel before a renewal, contact us promptly — we review reasonable requests in good faith and may issue a refund or credit at our discretion.
- Billing errors. Duplicate charges, or charges resulting from a technical error, are refunded in full.
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Processing time depends on your bank or card issuer.
4. Free plan
The Free plan and bring-your-own-key usage are not charged by GooseMind and are therefore not subject to refunds. If you use your own model provider API keys, any fees those providers charge are between you and them.
5. How to request a refund or cancel
Email support@goosemind.ai from the address associated with your account, and include your account email and the reason for your request. We aim to acknowledge refund and cancellation requests within two business days.
6. Chargebacks
If you believe a charge is incorrect, please contact us first — we can almost always resolve billing issues quickly and directly, without the delay of a card dispute.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date above, and changes apply to billing periods beginning after the change takes effect.
